A mini-tower UPS with line interactive topology, the CyberPower AVR Series CP1500AVRT provides battery backup (using simulated sine wave output) and surge protection for desktop computers, workstations, networking devices, and home entertainment systems. During longer power outages, the CP1500AVRT delivers enough battery backup power to perform a graceful shutdown to protect against the loss of data and damage to electronics. It uses Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR) to correct minor power fluctuations without switching to battery power, which extends battery life.
