Features | Enterprise class-reliable performance
The CW2050 series includes four models with 24 and 48 access ports and four built in 1G/2.5G SFP uplinks for nonblocking performance. The 24port non PoE model includes four HPE Smart Rate 1G/2.5G ports, and the 24port PoE model includes four PoE++ 1G/2.5G ports delivering up to 100W per port.
It supports up to 116Gbps switching capacity and up to 86Mpps performance.
Two switch Intelligent Resilient Fabric (IRF) stacking simplifies network management and provides high availability with uninterrupted Layer2 switching and Layer3 forwarding.
It supports Layer3 static routing and IPv6.
With industry leading 6kV service port surge protection technology, the HPE Networking CW2050 Switch Series helps reduce surge strike risks in demanding environments such as construction sites.
Powerful PoE options for WiFi7 APs and demanding IoT devices
The 24port and 48port PoE models provide power budgets of 420W and 410W, respectively, at 35W per port, supporting WiFi7 APs, IP cameras, video phones, and other devices without the need for separate power adapters or cabling.
The 24 port model includes four PoE++ ports delivering up to 100W per port for added flexibility and investment protection.
Simple and flexible management
The HPE Networking CW2050 Switch Series includes a default Web GUI and can be managed alongside other CW switches with an embedded web based dashboard designed to simplify deployment and centralize management.
Advanced management options include HPE Intelligent Management Center (IMC), command line interface (CLI), SNMP managers, and REST APIs for integration with existing customer dashboards.
Comprehensive security control
The CW2050 series provides multilayered access protection with granular ACLs (IPv4/IPv6, VLAN, port based), identity driven policies, and authentication including 802.1X, MAC, Web, RADIUS, and TACACS+, as well as Guest VLAN detection and dual NIC detection with IMC.
It supports encrypted access using SSHv2, SSL, SNMPv3, and TLS, along with role based privileges and audit logging
Secure Boot verifies digital signatures to help prevent unauthorized or malicious software from loading during startup.
Threat prevention features include Control Plane Policing (DoS protection), ARP and DHCP protection, ICMP throttling, port security, and source port filtering.
Network isolation features include Private VLANs for user to user traffic separation.
