Tripp Lite series Industrial Gigabit Ethernet PoE++ Splitter/Extender

Eaton's Tripp Lite series industrial PoE++ splitter/extender brings power and connectivity to non-PoE devices in demanding environments. By splitting a high-power 802.3bt PoE signal into 24 VDC power and Gigabit data outputs, this plug-and-play splitter enables flexible, cost-effective network expansion without additional electrical wiring or specialized technical expertise.

The splitter (model NPOE-SPL-EXT) connects to a compatible PoE switch or injector up to 100 meters (328 feet) away. For best performance, pair with an Eaton industrial PoE++ injector (model NPOEI-90W-1G).

Gigabit Ethernet connections

• Auto-negotiating Gigabit Ethernet (10/100/1000 Mbps) RJ45 ports enable high-speed data transmission.
• MDI/MDIX crossover detection allows the RJ45 ports to automatically detect and choose the connection required without using special crossover cables for uplinks.

Flexible 24 VDC output

• This splitter converts PoE input into 24 VDC output to power non-PoE devices. This provides placement flexibility because it eliminates the need for AC outlets in device locations, saving the expense and effort of powering devices with individual power supplies.
• Compliant with IEEE 802.3af/at/bt standards, the splitter delivers up to 65 watts of power to meet the needs of modern industrial hardware.
• An on/off switch eliminates the need to plug and unplug a PoE cable and helps mitigate power inrush, which can negatively affect devices.

Intuitive local monitoring

LEDs indicate system power status and PoE input wattage.

Designed for industrial environments

• Ruggedized metal case withstands vibration, shock and free fall. IP30 rating indicates protection from tools and wires with a diameter of 2.5 millimeters or greater.
• Wide operating temperature range allows equipment to function in cold and hot environments.
• ESD protection reduces potential static damage to connected equipment.
• Pre-installed rail clip mounts to a standard 35 mm DIN rail in cabinets or control panels.
